Bro-legend Rob Gronkowski chose Arizona for the most Gronk reason ever

Understandably, Rob Gronkowski had his choice of football programs as he was coming out of high school. Therefore it’s a bit curious as to why he chose the University of Arizona for his college ball.

Well the mystery has been solved thanks to his dad Gordy, in an interview with Vanity FairIn it Papa Gronk reveals the truth, and it’s the stuff of legend.

The report read:

Rob had something like 65 scholarship offers, and I asked, “Where are you going? Syracuse? Ohio State?” He goes, “University of Arizona.” I asked, “Why there?” “Dad, if you ever went to a pool party at Arizona, you’d understand.”

Really no surprise in his answer, but it just might change the recruiting tactics of programs across the country. Put on awesome pool parties = sign future All-Bro tight ends.
