Greg Schiano named Ohio State DC

Less than a week ago, former Ohio State defensive coordinator Chris Ash announced he had accepted the head coaching position with Rutgers. It hasn’t taken very long for the Buckeyes to find his replacement and they are going with a former Rutgers guy.

It was rumored that former Georgia defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt was interested in the job. However, Adam Schefter reported former Rutgers head coach Greg Schiano had accepted the position.

Schiano led the Scarlet Knights to six bowl appearances in 11 seasons. He was also 11-21 in two years with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
