Texas A&M just announced Thursday that quarterback Kyle Allen is leaving the program, and Allen left no doubt about the move, confirming it on Twitter.
The move doesn’t come as a surprise as Allen was splitting time with freshman and fellow former five-star recruit Kyler Murray. It was widely believed one of the two would transfer.
Allen completed 56.5 percent of his passes (7.8 yards/att) for 2210 yards and a 17-7 TD INT ratio in 2015.
A sophomore, Allen told FOXsports.com that when considering transfer options, “Oklahoma comes to mind.”
