Stanford defensive coordinator Lance Anderson has been offered the same job at Michigan according to a tweet from the UM Football Show podcast.
Reports are surfacing that Stanford DC Lance Anderson has been offered the Michigan DC job, a decision is expected this weekend #GoBlue

Anderson worked under Harbaugh at Stanford and stayed on under David Shaw when Harbaugh left to become coach of the San Francisco 49ers. Now that former Wolverines defensive coordinator D.J. Durkin has accepted the head coaching job at Maryland, Harbaugh needs a new man to run the defense and who better than someone he knows well?
On top of that, Anderson has a reputation as a strong recruiter, not that it’s necessarily needed at a school as big and as notable as Michigan, especially with Jim Harbaugh as head coach, but he is a strong defensive mind and helped keep the Cardinal in the playoff picture up until the near-end.
