Lee Corso gets emotional watching footage of himself coaching Navy

-

47 years ago, beloved College GameDay analyst Lee Corso was a coach at Navy. Today, the show just happens to be in Philadelphia, where Navy takes on Army later today.

As a special treat for Corso, old footage of himself coaching the Midshipmen was aired on the program and, naturally, he got emotional.

Corso served as Navy’s defensive backs coach for three seasons before going on to become the head coach at Louisville, Indiana and Northern Illinois. For his career, he went 73-85-6.

Needless to say, today should bring back at least some sort of nostalgia for him and based on his reaction, it’s clear that he looks back on his days in Annapolis with fondness.

Kickoff between Army and Navy is set for 3 p.m. ET on CBS.
