At the beginning of the season, Penn State quarterback Christian Hackenberg was a favorite to be the number one pick in next year’s NFL Draft. He has fallen out of the first round throughout the season, but it looks like he will still, unsurprisingly, declare for the Draft very soon.
According to reports, Hackenberg is likely going to enter the Draft for next April. He is still considered a top-five quarterback and is expected to be drafted in the second round.
During his career with the Nittany Lions, Hackenberg has thrown for 8,318 yards and 48 touchdowns. Scouts will get the chance to watch Hackenberg one final time in the TaxSlayer Gator Bowl against Georgia on January 2 in Jacksonville.
