With Kirby Smart coming in to be Georgia’s new head coach, it seems there will be a new regime around him as well. Defensive coordinator Jeremy Pruitt has already replaced Smart in Tuscaloosa and Smart has already found a new guy to run his offense going forward.
Jerry DiPaola of Trib Total Media in Pittsburgh as well as 247Sports confirmed the news via Twitter Friday night that Pittsburgh offensive coordinator Jim Chaney had been hired to the same position in Athens.
Big news from #Pitt: I can confirm through a source that OC Jim Chaney has accepted the same job at Georgia.
