Jeremy Larkin flips commitment from Cincinnati to Northwestern

-

Jeremy Larkin is a four-star running back prospect in the 2016 college football recruiting class. He was originally committed to the Cincinnati Bearcats, but has reportedly decided to change his mind. According to Larkin on his personal Twitter account, he has flipped his commitment from Cincinnati to the Northwestern Wildcats.

Committing to Northwestern is a very smart decision by Larkin. Playing in the Big Ten cannot be beaten and the Wildcats showed last season that they are on the right track to getting into contention in the conference.

Larkin will be coming into a very open backfield situation for Northwestern, which could mean early playing time.

During his senior season at La Salle High School in Cincinnati, Larkin carried the football 103 times for 1,049 yards and 17 touchdowns, according to his Max Preps page. He also caught 15 passes for 384 yards and six touchdowns.
