St. Louis Rams running back Todd Gurley has been out of college for nearly a year now, but he is still doing the same things he did while at Georgia. He has been one of the best players in the NFL this year and he proved it against the Detroit Lions.
The Rams currently lead the Lions 21-7 in the fourth quarter, but it wasn’t easy to get there as it was a defensive struggle in the first half. Late in the third quarter, Gurley gave an awesome diving effort to get into the endzone to give his team a 14-7 lead.
Gurley has 118 yards and two touchdowns on the day. The rookie has been making plays like this all year and I’m sure the Rams are happy that he is proving his top ten worth.
