Nearly half of NBA players come from 23 schools

||

Surprise! No school has produced more NBA talent than the University of Kentucky; surely John Calipari has padded those numbers quite a bit since he came to Lexington.

When the NBA opened the 2015-16 season, Kentucky had 21 former Wildcats on a roster, Kansas came in a close second with 19 former Jayhawks according to Collegiate Basketball News.

In total, alumni from 111 different Division 1 schools were represented on NBA rosters to start the season. Below are the 23 schools with at least five active NBA players.

Players from these schools represent nearly half (47 percent) of all players in the NBA this season.
