The LSU Tigers had a crop of talented running backs this season and they will all return next year. One running back that didn’t make a huge impact, but was still a pretty good piece on special teams was backup Nick Brossette.
Brossette went down with an apparent knee injury against Ole Miss earlier this season and it was reported that he would need surgery. Ross Dellenger of The Advocate reported that Brossette underwent successful surgery on his ACL on Monday.
Brossette only racked up 65 yards this season, but was a big piece for the Tigers on special teams. The freshman was four-star recruit in LSU’s 2015 class and the number 16 running back in the country.
