Photo: North Carolina governor hangs Clemson flag after losing ACC title game bet

In a battle of the Carolinas, Clemson beat North Carolina, 45-37, to take home the ACC title and sew up the No. 1 seed in the College Football Playoff. Adding insult to injury, North Carolina governor Pat McCrory had to hang the Clemson flag in his office today to settle a wager he made with his South Carolina counterpart, Nikki Haley.

Check the referee uniform and “OFFSIDES?” note on Governor McCrory’s desk, looks like the gov isn’t above pointing out questionable calls. But at least he is an honorable loser, following through on his wager.
