Video: J.J. Redick leaves interview because he doesn’t want to dance

Apparently, the Los Angeles Clippers have a pretty odd tradition after a win in the Staples Center. The team beat the Detroit Pistons 105-103 in overtime Monday night and leading scorer J.J. Redick had a great game, scoring 24 points.

He was giving an interview following the win and he seemed pretty out of sorts. He gave a quick quote and jetted off the court towards the locker room.

Did y'all see this bizarre @JJRedick postgame interview? 😂 https://t.co/5mmcLZkjj3

It looks like Redick’s abrupt departure from the interview was with good reason. The Clippers have a thing that the last person to leave the locker room has to dance and it looks like Redick really didn’t want to show off his skills.

According to @Matt_Winer, JJ was in a hurry because the last Clipper player into the locker room has to dance. JJ wasn't having any of that.

That is certainly a way to get out of dancing.
