#VolNation I want to welcome Alexis Johnson to the Tennessee Football Family!!! #Team120 📝🍊 https://t.co/7TgliRFY0L

Johnson is considered one of the top interior linemen in the country and also received offers from a number of schools including Arizona, N.C. State, Louisville, Houston and Kentucky, among others. He has fine size for his position at 6-foot-4, 300 pounds and should be an immediate impact player once he arrives in Knoxville.

Given the injuries the Volunteers’ defense endured during the season, Johnson’s welcome should be with more open arms besides that of his coach.
