Texas A&M has had a rough couple of weeks, with quarterback Kyle Allen opting to transfer and now five-star freshman Kyler Murray apparently on the way out too, leaving fans and others alike wondering if five-star Class of 2017 quarterback prospect Tate Martell will enroll in the school early and save the seemingly spiraling program.
Though Martell did indeed discuss the possibility with GigEm247, he posted the following to Twitter and put the matter to bed.
Thus, it looks like the dual-threat QB out of Las Vegas will remain right where he is in the meantime, meaning that the Aggies’ staff have two options.
First, do all they can to convince Murray to stay in College Station and not leave the program.
Second, let Murray leave and prepare to have Jake Hubenak start next year, in all likelihood.
