It must be hard playing under center in the post Johnny Football era in College Station.
According to TexAgs.com’s Billy Liucci, Kyler Murray is contemplating transferring out of Texas A&M. Though nothing has been officially announced, Murray would be the second former five-star quarterback recruit Kevin Sumlin has lost this month, with Kyle Allen announcing his plans to transfer.
If Murray does indeed make it official, Texas has made the first move as Longhorns freshman quarterback Jerrod Heard, three-star linebacker commit Demarco Boyd and defensive end Quincy Vasser sent subtle messages over Twitter for Murray to come to Austin. Although Heard soon deleted his tweet.
Texas was one of the schools Murray was strongly considering before committing to A&M.
That would be a huge get for the Longhorns.
