This past weekend, Texas A&M quarterback Kyle Allen announced that he had been granted a release from his scholarship and he will transfer for next season. There are a number of schools that could use a talented quarterback like Allen and it’s pretty obvious that he is going to end up with one of the premier programs in the country.
This season, Allen split time with freshman Kyler Murray before an injury and lack of production sat him down permanently. Allen recorded 3,532 yards passing and 33 touchdowns in 22 games.
