Kareem Walker, the No. 1 running back in the Class of 2016, has committed to Jim Harbaugh and the University of Michigan. Walker’s decision was announced on Twitter by Chris Balas of TheWolverine.com, part of Rivals.
Kareem Walker @_KareemWalker chooses Michigan over Florida State and others. Nation's No. 1 running back recruit.

Walker, a four-star recruit who currently plays at New Jersey’s DePaul Catholic High School, about 20 miles away from New York City, turned down offers from a great number of schools including Alabama, Florida State, Clemson, Auburn, Oregon and many others. He has a powerful build at six feet tall and 200 pounds, and should only develop more of a strong running game once he puts on some weight.
Needless to say, Jim Harbaugh has gotten his recruiting game in Ann Arbor off to a hot start and the addition of Walker is only the beginning of such.
