Former Kentucky quarterback Patrick Towles announced he would be transferring out of Lexington just over a month ago. It was not clear where he would end up, but now fans know where he will play next season.
He announced on Friday that he would be transferring up to Boston College for the 2016 season. He started for majority of the 2015 season for the Wildcats before he lost the starting job after a poor performance.
He looked to have a pretty promising career with the Wildcats coming into the season as he had thrown for 2,951 yards, 15 touchdowns, and 10 touchdowns entering the season. However, he threw for just 2,148 yards, nine touchdowns, and 14 interceptions.
He will look to restart his career with the Eagles, while trying to help the Eagles start over. The team was one of the worst offenses in the country this year.
