LB David Reese commits to Florida

Class of 2016 three-star linebacker David Reese, out of Michigan’s Farmington High School, in the Detroit Area, has committed to Jim McElwain and the Florida Gators. Reese’s decision was announced on Twitter by Coach McElwain himself.

Reese committed to Florida over TCU, Texas and Nebraska. By committing to the Gators, he ensures that the team will have a strong defense to go with McElwain’s signature spread offense.

With Antonio Morrison set to graduate and the future of leading tackler Jarrad Davis up in the air, definitely look for Reese to become an immediate impact player in Gainesville!

Florida takes on Michigan in the Citrus Bowl on New Year’s Day. Kickoff is slated for 1 p.m. ET on ABC.
