Rutgers football hires Kenny Parker as team’s new strength and conditioning coach

Working hard with high integrity is a mix made for success.

For Kenny Parker, that greater success happened today, as Rutgers head coach Chris Ash announced Parker as the team’s new strength and conditioning coach.

In a prepared statement, Ash said, “I am excited to welcome Kenny to Rutgers football program. In our past two seasons together at Ohio State I have recognized Kenny’s tremendous work ethic and his ability to get the most out of our players.

“Having Kenny on staff will be a major asset as we work to build a team that is both physically tough and mentally prepared to compete in the Big Ten.”

It’s definitely an upward move.

Parker spent the last three years as an assistant with Ohio State, and has been in that same position since 2005.
