Tyler Ervin gives San Jose State 10-0 lead with 85-yard punt return TD

The inaugural AutoNation Cure Bowl started off pretty slowly with a scoreless first quarter. The second quarter woke the fans up in Orlando just a little bit and it started with San Jose State.

The Spartans’ star running back, Tyler Ervin, hadn’t had a great start to his day, but he changed that very quickly. He caught a punt and broke open an 87-yard return to make the score 10-0 for his team.

The Spartans are the first ever 5-7 team to play in a bowl game and they are looking to make history by winning the game. If Ervin keeps making plays like this, they shouldn’t have any problem doing just that.
