Utah State DL coach to take some job at Washington

According to The Salt Lake TribuneUtah State has lost another assistant football coach.

Earlier this week, offensive coordinator Josh Heupel left for Missouri, and Friday it was reported that defensive line coach Ikaika Malloe is heading to Seattle to take a similar role at Washington.

Washington is Malloe’s alma mater, graduating in 1996.

This past season was his second on head coach Matt Wells’ staff. He came to Utah State from Portland State, where he was the defensive tackles coach and special teams coordinator for two seasons. He has also coached at Yale, UTEP and Western Illinois.
