Ezekiel Elliott on Fiesta Bowl: ‘Never felt more prepared’

-

The Ohio State Buckeyes don’t get the chance to defend their national championship this year, but they do get a spot in a New Year’s Six bowl. They will play in the Fiesta Bowl against the Notre Dame Fighting Irish on January 1.

One player that is more than ready for the game is Ohio State running back Ezekiel Elliott. It is his final game of his college career as he is moving on to the NFL next April and he commented on the game via Twitter.

Elliott is the top running back prospect in the 2016 NFL Draft. He also wants to have a big showing in the game after he was snubbed in the Heisman Trophy voting this year.

The Buckeyes and Irish kickoff at 1 p.m. EST on ESPN on January 1.
