During his short career at Florida, quarterback Jeff Driskel didn’t have the performance that the team would have liked. He transferred to Louisiana Tech for the 2015 season and he had a great year leading the Bulldogs to a 8-4 record.
He led the Bulldogs to a 47-28 win over the Arkansas State Red Wolves in the New Orleans Bowl Saturday night. He had 458 yards and three touchdowns in the game as he completed a terrific career.
Driskel’s former teammate Vernon Hargreaves III gave him a shouout following the game. He congratulated Driskel on having a magnificent season.
Driskel went for 4,033 yards, 27 touchdowns, and just eight interceptions this year. Certainly a great season for the senior who finishes his career with 7,444 yards, 50 touchdowns, and 28 interceptions.
