Kirk Cousins files trademark application for ‘You like that!’

Washington Redskins quarterback Kirk Cousins has had a terrific year for his team this season. He has led the team to a 7-7 record and they have sole possession of first place in the hapless NFC East.

Earlier this year, a Vine video featuring Cousins in a moment of passion went viral. He had led the Redskins to their biggest comeback in team history after they defeated the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 31-30 after being down 24-0 in the fourth quarter.

He is now trying to capitalize on the popularity of his “You like that” phrase. Back in October, he filed an application to trademark the phrase and even began selling t-shirts, which he said will benefit the International Justice Mission, an organization that protects the poor from violence across the world.

I’m sure he will have no problem earning the trademark.
