Kurt Warner gives two single mothers an incredible Christmas gift

Kurt Warner: the gift that keeps giving. Not only was the man an excellent quarterback for both the St. Louis Rams and Arizona Cardinals, but a high moral gentleman, committed to charity.

Since hanging up his cleats on a career that included a Super Bowl title and MVP award, Warner has aimed his full attention on his foundation: First Things First. This holiday, he worked with Habitat for Humanity, blessing two single mothers with everything you need to fill a house: furniture, food, computers, beds.

Being a welfare kid with a single, hardworking mother, this story touches me. Countless acts like this–though smaller in nature–were given us by friends, churches, and random citizens. They literally changed my sisters and my life.

It’s good to know people like Kurt Warner use their fame and fortune to better others.
