In a post on Twitter, four-star linebacker recruit Rahshaun Smith announced that he had narrowed his college decision down to three schools.
The Maryland native revealed that staff changes have led to the Terrapins being removed from consideration. He gave thanks to the fans and members of the program for the way they treated him, but felt that it wasn’t the best fit.
The schools remaining on his list for consideration are Clemson, Auburn and LSU. An official decision, he said, will be coming at the upcoming Under Armour Game.
Smith is the second-ranked linebacker and 13th-ranked overall player in the state of Florida, where he played for IMG Academy. It’s an impressive final three, and he is sure to make an impact no matter where he decides to go.
