Russell Wilson breaks TD record

There has been no hotter player over the second half of the NFL season than Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson.

The fourth-year signal caller out of Wisconsin has guided his team back into playoff contention, and even has people talking of a potential third-straight Super Bowl berth. And it appears that the talk may be warranted based of his record breaking performance.

What record you may ask? Well, Wilson now has the most touchdown passes without an interception in a five-game span in NFL history. Over the last five games, he has thrown an astounding 19 touchdowns with not a single pick.

It doesn’t matter what teams he’s played during that time frame, the fact that he has played almost perfect football shows the type of player he is. He’s quickly reaching elite status in the NFL, and opposing defenses should be afraid of what that means.
