Tennessee going traditional for Outback Bowl

A few teams have already revealed some of their uniforms for their bowl games this year and some have are going off the charts with throwback and non-traditional garbs. The Tennessee Volunteers, however, are sticking to their guns for their getup for the 2016 Outback Bowl.

The Volunteers have turned things around and look to be on their way back to the premiere of the SEC East. The team went from 5-7 to 8-4 and in a New Year’s Day bowl game for the second year in a row in just three seasons under head coach Butch Jones.

They are keeping the tradition alive against the Northwestern Wildcats.

The Volunteers and Wildcats square off in Raymond James Stadium in Tampa Bay, Florida on January 1. The game kicks off at 12 noon EST on ESPN2.
