After a decisive win over the Tennessee Titans last weekend, the New England Patriots are the favorites to win the Super Bowl, per Bovada.
New England now holds 13/4 odds of winning another Vince Lombardi Trophy, and it’s hard to imagine them not doing it at this point. Star wide receiver Julian Edelman should be back from a broken foot in time for the postseason and as quarterback Tom Brady’s favorite target, it’s going to be tough to slow down New England’s offense.
But what about the undefeated Carolina Panthers? Their odds are at 4/1 after just barely beating the New York Giants last weekend, and running back Jonathan Stewart is currently out with a foot injury.
At this point, though they are looking like the best and most cohesive unit in the NFL, we’re at a point where everyone is waiting for the other shoe to drop and for Carolina’s flame to suddenly be snuffed out.
Oh, and we can’t forget the Seattle Seahawks who, despite having 19/4 odds, are starting to show signs of life and are finally looking like the two-time defending NFC Champions.
Needless to say, betting on this year’s Super Bowl is far from easy, so do your research before throwing any money down.
