UPDATE: Ron Jaworski is beginning to backtrack on his initial report.
If there was ever a reason to question the justice system of the NFL, it would certainly be now. There are multiple reports that New York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.’s one-game suspension has been overturned by the NFL.
ESPN’s Ron Jaworski reported the news via Twitter citing multiple sources in New York City.
Beckham had been suspended for his vicious, helmet-to-helmet hit on Carolina Panthers’ cornerback Josh Norman last Sunday. This certainly opens up a lot of questions for the NFL, especially after Norman was fined for allegedly threatening Beckham with a bat prior to the game on Sunday.
What do you think about the situation? Should this suspension have been overturned? Let us know in the comments below!
