Oklahoma number 1 in ESPN’s power index rankings in football and basketball

|

It’s pretty safe to say that the Oklahoma Sooners have had a great year in every sense of the word when it comes to athletics. The football team went 11-1, won the Big 12 championship, and are playing in the College Football Playoffs. Their men’s basketball team has started off 9-0.

That has, in turn, landed the Sooners on the top of ESPN’s power index rankings. The football team has been on top of the football power index rankings for more than a month, so it’s probably deserving.
