Pat Narduzzi calls taking Pitt job ‘best decision’ of his life

Pat Narduzzi truly has one of the coolest stories in all of college football. He spent a years as the defensive coordinator for Cincinnati and Michigan State and was one of the more successful coordinators in the country during his time.

He got the chance to lead his own football program this year and he ran with it. The Pittsburgh Panthers had a phenomenal season, finishing the year 8-4 and second in the ACC Coastal Division.

The team will play Navy in the Military Bowl next week and Narduzzi talked about his decision to go to Pittsburgh. He took the job one year ago today and he certainly doesn’t regret it.

PITT REALLY IS IT! ONE year anniversary today and have to say the best decision and year I've ever had. Blessed to be the HFC at PITT.

I think Panther fans are pretty happy to have Narduzzi around as well. The team hadn’t posted double-digit wins since 2010 and it looks like Narduzzi is one his way to leading them back to that feat.
