The Kentucky Wildcats pulled off a big 75-73 win over rival Louisville on Saturday to move to 10-2 on the season. In the game, point guard Tyler Ulis had a big game and he was honored with the MVP award for the game.
He went for 21 points on the day and he was named the Bluegrass Sports Commission MVP award for the game. The organization started giving this award in 2010 and Ulis is the first two-time winner after he won it last season.
Ulis has been a big piece for the Wildcats this season and he had to step up during the game after Isaiah Briscoe was injured during warmups.
