Missouri Tigers defensive line coach Craig Kuligowski is headed to Miami to take the same position on Mark Richt’s staff, according to Peter Ariz of CanesInSight.com.
Kuligowski is a great hire for Miami, as he has developed some of the best pass rushers in the game. Those who have succeeded under his tutelage include Shane Ray, Aldon Smith, Michael Sam and 11-year NFL veteran C.J. Mosely. He has a reputation as being a great players’ coach, having been dubbed “Coach Kool” by many, and could be just what Miami needs on the defensive side to bring the program back to prominence.
Needless to say, with this hire, Richt is showing that he isn’t messing around when it comes to rebuilding Miami football.
