Purdue Boilermakers: 5 keys entering the Big Ten schedule

The Purdue Boilermakers are currently the No. 14 team in the nation and a very trendy team to keep an eye on, thanks to their mix of young talent and veteran leaders.

After losing to the Butler Bulldogs, the Boilermakers bounced back with a huge win last week over Vanderbilt.

Looking ahead at the remainder of the season, there is no question that Purdue is a team to watch in the Big Ten. There are still some holes that they need to fill, however, and there are five keys entering Big Ten play that they need to focus on in particular.

If they are able to focus on those keys, they have a very good chance at making a deep run in the NCAA Tournament.

Painter and the Boilermakers haven’t been viewed as a legitimate threat in the Big Ten since Robbie Hummel left town. It has been a long rebuilding process, but Purdue is finally back in the picture.
