Danny Kanell trolls Alabama, Nick Saban once again

-

Everyone’s favorite SEC troll is at it again. Yes, ladies and gentlemen, ESPN’s Danny Kanell has once again taken to Twitter to troll Nick Saban and the Alabama Crimson Tide.

In this case, it was over an ESPN graphic that showed coaches with the most wins against teams currently in the AP Top 5. Saban ranked second behind Florida State legend Bobby Bowden, and Kanell was quick to remind Saban that he inherited a big program at Alabama while Bowden built FSU from the ground up.

Kanell is half right, as Saban turned Alabama football around when he arrived there in 2007, but the facts are there. Bowden did indeed turn Florida State into a household name in over three decades in Tallahassee.

Just the same, with two more wins and with the odds of Saban staying in Tuscaloosa high, the four-time champion could indeed pass Bowden, in which case Kanell will have to eat his words.
