Gary Payton II has been one of the most electric players in the PAC-12 all season long and he could be a big reason why the Beavers return to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1990. It’s also pretty ironic that Payton’s father was with the Beavers during that run.
He has been known for making big dunks all year long with one of his biggest plays coming against Kansas earlier this year. On Sunday, he was up to his old tricks, this time against Oregon’s Chris Boucher.
OH MY GARY PAYTON II DID IT AGAIN! HUGE dunk for @OregonStateMBB! #Pac12 https://t.co/42ZCYosadZ

That was just unfair. The Beavers went on to win the game 70-57 over the Ducks and moved to 10-2 on the year.
The Beavers have had a great year so far and Payton has been a big part of it. If he keeps making big plays like this, there’s no doubt that they will be going dancing in March once again.
