I don’t know why Matakevich keeps dropping in draft boards, but he shouldn’t be. He recorded 100 tackles in every season at Temple and led the NCAA during his sophomore year with 108 solo tackles.

He took home a myriad of awards in 2015 with the Bronko Nagurski Trophy, Chuck Bednarik Award, and the AAC Defensive Player of the Year Award now on his mantle. He is poised to have a Hall of Fame type career in the NFL.
