For some reason, MLB players seem to injure themselves doing the most mundane tasks somehow. This trend hasn’t stopped as the first injury for the Dodgers in Spring Training came at the hands of an avocado.
Dodgers pitcher Micah Johnson is out for a week after needing stitches for his right hand. Johnson cut his hand while trying to remove the pit of an avocado.
