NFL Draft 2016: Top five underrated safeties

1. DeAndre Houston-Carson

For Houston-Carson, it’s not about how many tackles he made or interceptions he recorded during his career with The Tribe, even though 293 tackles and ten interceptions will get him some looks. He has another trait that should make him a big target in the 2016 NFL Draft.

Throughout his four years on the gridiron, Houston-Carson recorded nine blocked kicks, the most in NCAA history. That should be reason alone to bring him in, especially with the way the special teams, both field goals and punts, have changed in the last decade.
