Just because you have never won an NFL championship does not mean you haven’t seen your fair share of talented players throughout the years. The San Diego Chargers exemplify just that.
In five of their first six years in the NFL, the Chargers played for the AFL Championship, winning in 1963, and also played in Super Bowl XXIX, losing to in-state opponent, the San Francisco 49ers.
In the Chargers’ history, they have seen some great players on both sides of the ball with one of their more legendary players being a certain Samoan linebacker.
