Heisman Trophy 2016: Top five candidates from the PAC-12

1. Christian McCaffrey, RB, Stanford

You will be hard-pressed to find a running back that can just flat out play the game better than McCaffrey can. He took the PAC-12 by storm last season as he became the first player in NCAA history with over 3,000 all-purpose yards.

He won the AP Player of the Year Award, PAC-12 Offensive Player of the Year Award and was a Consensus All-American. He also had a mesmerizing performance in the Rose Bowl with a record 368 total yards and two touchdowns.
