Kevin Durant: 5 possible NBA Free Agency destinations

With the NBA Finals underway, only one thing stands between the conclusion of this season and the beginning of the next: free agency. The biggest storyline? Kevin Durant and his next home.

Durant’s Nike contract and personal branding will follow him wherever he goes; he’s never been too high on big markets or the limelight, so teams like the Lakers and Knicks, unabashed flaunters of their sizable markets, will be hard-pressed to find other attractions their teams can bring to the table for Durant.

Though numerous teams have been identified as having interest in pursuing the star forward this summer, I’ve taken the liberty of whittling the white noise down to five intriguing cities Durant could quite possibly find himself in by the beginning of the 2016-17 NBA season.

We’ll look at them in the order of least to most probable.
