Michigan State football: 5 things to watch in 2016

The Michigan State Spartans won the Big Ten championship and represented the conference in the College Football Playoff last season. They are looking to do much of the same going into the 2016 season, but it may be pretty tough for them this go around.

Defensively, this team should be one to watch as they return a healthy amount of starters on that side of the ball. On the other side of the ball, they are going to have to replace three-year starter and one of the best quarterbacks in team history in Connor Cook as well as a large number of weapons surrounding Tyler O’Connor.
