The Minnesota Golden Gophers will be opening a brand new football performance center and indoor practice facility by the 2018 season and it is a huge deal for the team. They are looking to begin competing in the Big Ten and having new facilities is always a big plus.
The team will be opening this facility and it looks pretty amazing. You can watch the below video to tour the new facilities, which includes a lounge with a beautiful view for the players, a training room and a weight room.
This “Athletes Village” will certainly draw more recruits to Minnesota in the coming years and I would expect it to help the get some nice recruiting classes over the next few seasons.
