Video: Marshawn Lynch gives strong take on national anthem protest

Former Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch weighed in on the nationwide debate that has been raised thanks to San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick taking a stand to end social inequality in the country.

Lynch shared his pretty strong take on the protests during Tuesday night’s episode of “Conan.”

“With what’s going on, I’d rather see him take a knee than stand up, put his hands up and get murdered,” Lynch said while standing with his hands raised. “My take on it is s—, they got to start somewhere.”

Those are some strong words from a guy that is notorious for not liking to speak a lot. But he is making a great point and with two more people of color being killed by police on Tuesday, Lynch’s message really rings loud and clear.
