Week 8 of the 2016 college football season is in the books, so the weekly honors are beginning to roll out. For Stanford Cardinal punter Jake Bailey, that meant adding a piece of hardware to his trophy case for a strong effort in a loss to Colorado.
On Monday, the Augusta Sports Council and Ray Guy Award announced Bailey has been named the Ray Guy Award Punter of the Week.
Bailey punted the ball five times for 253 yards, averaging 50.6 yards per punt.Bailey pinned Colorado inside of the 20-yard line on two occasions, with a long of 61 yards.
