Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm is looking to add another piece of hardware to her trophy case.
This weekend, Holm will be facing off against Germaine de Randamie for the inaugural UFC women’s featherweight championship. If Holm were to win, she’d become the first female fighter in UFC history to hold belts in two weight classes, but that pales in comparison to the success she has had in boxing.
Before Holm became known as the first woman to defeat Ronda Rousey, the Albuquerque, New Mexico native was an 18-time boxing champion in three weight classes and a two-time Ring magazine fighter of the year.
Holm went 33-2 as a professional boxing and is currently 10-2 in mixed martial arts.
The UFC 208 pay-per-view card featuring Holm vs. de Randamie kicks off at 10 p.m. ET on Saturday night.
